About the Dog Trainer Index

Anyone who has worked in or around the dog industry in New Zealand will tell you the same things; That we have so many passionate, skilled and caring canine professionals all over the country - but that there are some real challenges too.

Chief among those - the lack of regulation and information about who is legit and who isn’t. Our dogs are part of our families and we think that the industry, and the people engaging with it, deserve a way to verify that the products and services they invest in for their dogs are trustworthy, high quality and safe.

The Dog Trainer Index is our solution. It’s a place to bring together the industry online, making it easier for clients to find trainers and service providers while also providing some transparency and social regulation in the form of community sourced reviews and feedback.

Our mission is to help every dog and their people in New Zealand be the best they can be by being the bridge between the ample talent in the dog industry and the everyday kiwis who just want help and guidance that they can trust.
